How do you fix a suspended Google Business Profile?
Work out what changed in the 30 days before the suspension, undo it if it broke a rule, then file a reinstatement request with evidence that you are a real business at a real location: licence, utility bill, signage photos, branded vehicles. Most decisions come back within three to fourteen days.
The usual triggers
Keywords in the business name. "Northline Plumbing - 24 Hour Emergency Tulsa" is not your name. This is the single most common cause.
An address that is not a real place of business. A virtual office, a mailbox, a coworking desk.
A home address left visible on a service-area business.
Editing several fields at once, particularly address plus category. Big simultaneous edits look like a hijack.
Two profiles at the same address for related businesses.
Fix before you appeal
Appealing without undoing the cause wastes your one clean attempt. Set the name to your real-world signage, hide the address if you serve customers at their location, and put the categories back to something defensible.
The evidence packet
Google asks for proof you exist where you say you do. Gather: business licence or registration, a utility bill or lease at the address, clear photos of exterior signage, photos of branded vehicles or equipment, and any professional licensing. Photos should show context, not close crops.
Timing and expectations
Most appeals resolve in three to fourteen days. If it is rejected, you can appeal again, but a second attempt with the same evidence rarely works - add something new. Do not create a second profile in the meantime; that makes a bad situation worse.
