Home / How it works
What actually happens after you hire us.
No mystery retainer. Here is the work, week by week, what we need from you, what lands in your inbox each month, and how you'll know whether it's working.
Four phases, ninety days
Each phase has one job. We don't move to the next one until the previous is genuinely done, because everything here is built on the foundation underneath it.
Find out where you stand
We ask your customers' real questions across the major assistants and capture every answer. We map your grid position, audit your profile field by field, and pull your listings across the directories that matter in your trade.
Fix the record
Profile rebuilt, duplicates suppressed, citations reconciled, schema deployed, review requests switched on. The unglamorous month that everything else rests on.
Publish what deserves to be quoted
Service and area pages go live, posts run weekly, reviews compound. Models re-crawl and start repeating what they now find about you.
Hold and expand
We defend the position against listing spam and competitor edits, keep the cadence running, and open up the next service or suburb once the first one holds.
Month one, week by week
| When | What we do | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Send the access checklist and book the kickoff call | Grant manager access to your Google Business Profile and editor access to your site |
| Week 1 | Kickoff call, prompt research, grid baseline, full profile and citation audit | 45 minutes on a call telling us what your best jobs look like |
| Week 2 | Categories, services, description, attributes and links rebuilt. Duplicate listings reported | Approve the new profile copy. Usually a five minute read |
| Week 3 | Citations corrected across directories. Schema deployed on your site. Review requests set up in your system | Confirm your service area and hours, including holidays |
| Week 4 | First posts and photos published. Q&A seeded. Baseline report sent | Send us two or three photos from recent jobs |
Total time asked of you in month one: about an hour. After that it's roughly twenty minutes a month.
What we need on day one
All of it takes a few clicks, and none of it hands over ownership of anything. You can revoke every item below at any time without asking us.
- Manager access to your Google Business Profile
- Editor access to your website or CMS
- Read access to Google Search Console, if you have it
- The email or CRM you use to close jobs
- Your service area, in plain terms
- Anything you've been told not to say in marketing
What you never hand over
- Ownership of your profile
- Your personal Google password
- Domain or hosting control
- Your review account or customer list
If an agency asks for any of these, that's your cue to walk.
What lands in your inbox every month
One page. If a number moved the wrong way, it's in there with the reason next to it.
- 1
Prompts that now name you
The same questions, asked the same way by the same team, month over month, so the change is comparable rather than anecdotal.
- 2
Your map grid
Position at 25 or 49 points across your service area, with last month's grid beside it.
- 3
Profile actions
Calls, direction requests and website clicks from Google, which is the number that ties most directly to booked work.
- 4
Shipped and next
What went live this month, what's queued for next, and anything we need a decision from you on.
How we work together
One person owns your account
You get a named strategist, not a ticket queue. Same person on every call, so you never re-explain your business.
Email, and a monthly call
Replies inside one business day on Growth, same day on Multi-location. Monthly call to review the report and set the next month.
Nothing goes out unapproved
Every page, post and review reply written in your name comes to you first. Rewrite anything that doesn't sound like you.
Honest expectations
What usually happens
Map movement in six to ten weeks. First new AI citations somewhere between month two and month four. Calls from your profile climbing before rankings look dramatically different, because a complete profile converts better even at the same position.
What we can't promise
That a specific assistant names you on a specific date. Nobody controls model output, and the same prompt can return different businesses on different days. What we control is being the best documented, best reviewed candidate in your category.
If the grid hasn't moved and no assistant is naming you at the ninety day mark, we'll work a fourth month at no charge or part ways. Your call.
See the first phase before you commit to any of it.
The free visibility check is week one's work, done for you at no cost, so you can judge how we think before there's money involved.
